We have so much snow right now. This weekend was the best! We helped Daddy shovel the driveway (so did our neighbor with his snowblower) and the piles of snow were over my head. I had a tough time walking around through the snow in the yard but you heard no complaining from me because it was so fun. We went sledding with the neighbors. Daddy and I tried to go sledding down the hill together but the snow was so deep that all we would do was sink. I climbed to the top of the stairs on the deck and I hopped on my sled and sled right down the stairs. Mom and Dad's concerned faces laughed really hard when I made it to the bottom...all in one piece. We made tunnels and snow angels. Later, we went inside and made cut out cookies (with my play dough cutter shapes) and hot coco. Dad and I went to the movie store to rent some movies.
Mom and Dad have been so impressed with how "smart" I am getting lately. My new favorite thing to do is spell and I am getting pretty good at it! Sometimes Mom and Dad spell words and I know what they are saying. Daddy and I were also talking about the earth the other day. He told me that the earth is a planet and I told him that the earth is blue, green and white. I asked him what the blue was and he said "the water." I asked him what the white was and he said "the clouds." I asked him what the green was and he said "the land." I told him "No Daddy, the green is the grass...the land is brown." He just smiled at me.
Later, Bub and Mommy were reading Bub's new favorite book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and she got to the part about the cocoon. I mentioned that it is a chrysalis and Mommy and Daddy's eyes got really big. They asked me if I knew what that was and I told them "Yes, that is what the caterpillar wraps itself up in and when it comes out it will be a beautiful butterfly."
Yep, again...getting smarter!
