We spent a week away from home over the 4th of July week. The week started out at the P. cabin and everyone was there. We spent a lot of time in the water and the weather was beautiful! It is so much fun to play with my cousins. One of Bub and my favorite parts was bathing in the lake for our baths instead of a bathtub. An ivory soap bar and a little shampoo is all you need to be squeaky clean. We watched a lot of fireworks one night and bub was not a fan. You could see them exploding all around the lake in every direction. I love sparklers!
After a few days daddy had to go back to work and the three of us (bub, mom and I) headed up north to the M. cabin. Once again the weather was perfect. Swimming, jumping off the dock, boating and tubing were just a few of the many fun things that we did. Great uncle T. brought some huge fireworks (the loud boom woke up Bub once...not a happy camper) and my cousin N. brought some fun little ones. Once again, the sparklers are so much fun!
I can't believe all the fun things that we get to do in the summer!
